Since its founding in 1948, the Met Gala has given us a plethora of unforgettable red carpet events along with some of the most talked-about fashion statements ever. These are the greatest Met Gala red carpet ensembles ever, ranging from Lupita Nyong’o’s green bedazzling Prada and Sarah Jessica Parker’s Alexander McQueen to Rihanna’s yellow Guo Pei design and Beyoncé’s transparent Givenchy.
